Bill L. Foster, age 88 of Clinton, MO, died on April 18, 2012 at the Golden Living Center – Westwood, Clinton.
Bill was born on October 13, 1923 in Cedar Vale, KS to Ralph and Madge “Randel” Foster. After school, he went to work in the construction business as a pipe line installer/repairman. Bill served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Military Policeman. He married Lucille Britain on September 25, 1943 in Sedan, KS. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #422 of Springfield, MO and the First Baptist Church of Willard, MO.
Surviving Bill is his wife of the home; a daughter, Karen Miller of Springfield, MO; a son, John Foster and wife Cheryl of Clinton, MO; 5 grandchildren, Sheila Anderson (Kyle), Brent Hood (Ramona), Tyson Foster (Angie), Summer Bryant (Shawn), and Cody Foster; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Bill in death were his parents.
Under the direction of Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton, a memorial service will conducted at the First Baptist Church, Willard, MO, on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cedar Vale, KS.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to either Twin Lakes Hospice or the Willard First Baptist Church and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
