David Duane Hall, age 64, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, MO.
David was born on October 16, 1947 to James and Etta ‘Williams’ Hall of Kansas City, KS. After attending Argentine HS, David went to work for the railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. He married Sharon Nelson Bergsing on July 25, 1981 in Livingston, MT. David retired on October 1, 2007 from Burlington Northern / Santa Fe railroad. Besides being an avid golfer and fisherman, he was a life member of the Masonic Lodge and a past member of the Kansas City Shrine.
Survivors include his wife Sharon Hall of the home; 3 daughters, Patti Arnold (Robert) of Prairie Village, KS, Traci Miller (Todd) of Hamilton, MT, and Peggy Kistner of Kansas City, KS; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Jordan, Payton, David, Heather and James; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marietta Werner and Cindy Muehlburger; 1 brother Ed Hall; 2 lifelong best friends, Mike ‘Chili Bean’ Chilson and Bill ‘Mable’ Hartegan; and a host of friends and family.
Preceding David in death were his parents; Step-father Ross Everhart, and 2 brothers, Bob and Richard Hall.
David’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 370 on 7500 W. 75th, Overland Park, KS at 3:00pm, Saturday, June 23rd.
