Obituary for Louetta Kay Elwell

Louetta Kay Elwell, age 73, of Montrose, died on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at her home.

Louetta was born July 7, 1944 to Everett William Bunnell and Verda Bell “King” Bunnell of Pleasant Hill, MO. After graduating from high school, Louetta’s life experience was full, marriage, motherhood, employment, mixed with many wonderful adventures. In her last employment opportunity, she worked for Stahl Specialty Company in Kingsville in maintenance.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Nichols (Steven) of Harrisonville; son, Robert Elwell (Jennifer) of Harrisonville, five grandchildren, Blake Nichols, Bethany Nichols, Zane Elwell, Manny Henriquez, and Julian Henriquez; brother, Bill Bunnell (Shirley) of Pleasant Hill; sister, Connie VanLou (Doug) of Stockton; special friend, Donald Goth; nieces, nephews, other family and several friends.

Proceeding her in death were her parents; sister, Darlena Bunnell; and husband, Walter Elwell.

The family will receive visitors at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. An inurnment will follow at a later date.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Louetta Elwell Memorial Fund and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
